Controls the latency from input to output. This is needed for the system to buffer a number of lines before the output is generated, so that a vertical distortion can be applied
This parameter is how the unit allows for vertical distortion, which is a compromise between latency and max available vertical distortion. If you set the latency value to a high number, it will let you do a lot of upwards vertical distortion, if you set it to a low number, it will let you do more downward distortion
