The CompactUTM / GCMPCI drivers do not currently support multiprocessor systems (also known as dual-core, quad-core, and dual cpu systems).
The observed behavior when running the drivers on such systems are:
- Incorrect frame rate measurements (a 60 Hz signal is reported as > 1000 Hz)
- Failure to generate a correct test pattern sequence for geometry calibration (CompactClick)
Other possible symptoms:
- Possible failure to generate a correct shutter glass control signal for stereo systems
- Driver crash or "blue screen" on the host computer
The primary solution for this problem is to disable multiprocessor support on the computer. There are no current plans to include multiprocessor support.
