HASP Sentinel Dongle Driver


  • Insert the license dongle into the computer running nContol.
  • Make sure that the dongle has a red light. This indicates that all necessary drivers are installed and that the dongle is working properly. If the dongle does not have a red light, then you need to install the proper driver for your system. The HASP Sentinel dongle driver can be downloaded at the end of this article.

Launch nContol

  • Launch nControl with the dongle inserted in the PC.
  • If your  license has expired you will be prompted with this message:

           

  • Send the Machine ID and the nControl License Number to the Customer Support Department by creating a ticket here.
  • Remember to select "license request by customer" as the "type" in the ticket field. This will speed up your request.

  • If you do not have your nControl license number, it can be found in the following way:
    • Open the "License Information" pane by clicking the 3DP icon in the leftmost corner.
    • Then go to Maintenance/License. 


                       


    • The "License Information" will open. Copy the license number found in the "License number (from license certificate):"

                       


    • Send the Machine ID and the License Number to the Customer Support Department by creating a ticket here.
    • Remember to select "license request by customer" as the "type" in the ticket field. This will speed up your request.


Installing the license key

Once you have obtained the new license key from Customer Support Department, open the "License Information" panel copy-paste the key and hit "ok".
